Beautiful weather and fantastic venue. It was challenging to find all the different landmarks, but we got to all the major ones! According to my phone, we walked over a mile and a half, but it didn't feel like it. Highly recommend any other trips to this location. As a bonus, I got to practice my long exposure with a fountain near the gate. Pretty happy with the results!

Great event! It was beautiful weather, lots of people out & about. Lots of opportunities for great photos. The instructor did a good job of offering tips on approaching people, as well as practical tips for the photos themselves. The tour of the Bottleworks Hotel was wonderful as well!!

After noticing an almost 3 foot spider web in the corner of my gazebo, I started looking for the spider. I saw him tucked away in the corner hiding. So for the next week I check the web multiple times a day waiting for it to be on the web. I finally decided to do research and used my phone to get a picture of it in the corner. After I googled the photo I learned it was a nocturnal spider and only came out at night. So that next day I set my tripod and camera up facing the center of the web. We

This was taken with, at the time a new lens RF 100-400. I was on one of many hikes through the park, and I came across these amazing flowers, and the bees were very busy. I took several shots but this one is by far my favorite.

As part of my final project as a fourth-year photography major, I chose to explore and document Calgary?s sculptures, which embody the history and heritage of its people and landscape. One of the highlights of my work is By the Banks of the Bow, one of the largest sculptural artworks in North America. To enhance the visual impact of the image, I utilized Photoshop, particularly to create a dramatic sky that seamlessly complements the dynamism of the horses and the cowboy. This piece celebrate

This long exposure shot is from August, 2024. I was visiting Liberty State Park, New Jersey. From Liberty park you get such an AMAZING view of the NYC skyline looking across the water. It?s awesome during the day but even more magical at night as you can see. I?d recommend a visit here just for the views to anyone. I loved the detail on this lizard. However, the background was very similar to the lizard body colour. In Lightroom I picked a background preset which toned it down somewhat, but not enough. So created a mask and turned down the background even further. A little ?pop? on the lizard skin and I was finished. I hope you like it.
